Elign at I-45 Accident
University of Houston Traffic Alert
There has been a major accident at the intersection of South Lockwood and Munger. This intersection is just north of I-45, close to the Elgin/Lockwood underpass. The vehicle sheered a utility pole at this intersection which has affected power in the area. The traffic lights on the northbound I-45 feeder road are not operational. It is unknown when the power will be restored. The City of Houston Police Department is currently working the intersection, but please use alternate routes to avoid delays.
